About Us

The Palestinian National Commission for Environment and Development and Empowerment (PCED) s an independent, licensed, and accredited Palestinian non-governmental organization founded in 2023 by a group of distinguished academics, scientists, and technicians. The Authority seeks to contribute effectively to achieving sustainable development in Palestine through environmental protection and the development of pioneering environmental and development policies and programs, with a focus on community empowerment and strengthening local and international partnerships.

We are committed to raising environmental awareness and addressing climate change to create a healthy environment for current and future generations. We offer innovative solutions to preserve biodiversity and achieve sustainable development in Palestine through education and the establishment of local and international partnerships.

The Palestinian Civil Society Organisation for Environment and Development (PCED) is running two workshops on psychological support in partnership with the Women’s Affairs Centre.
