The Palestinian Civil Society Organization carries out daily bread distribution activities through “Tina Ovens” with funding from a generous donor.

As part of its ongoing efforts in humanitarian response and supporting the resilience of families affected by war, the Palestinian Civil Society Organization for Environment, Development and Development (PCSODD) carried out a unique activity during October 2024, which consisted of operating “clay ovens” to provide daily bread for displaced persons, with the generous support of one of its donors.
The initiative targeted hundreds of families living in shelters and areas suffering from a shortage of food and basic supply services, where regular quantities of fresh bread were distributed, produced daily using traditional ovens (clay ovens) provided as part of the project.
The Authority emphasized that this intervention comes in light of frequent power and gas outages, which make clay ovens an effective option for providing bread safely and continuously, appreciating the support of the donor who contributed to easing the burden on affected families.
The Authority noted that this initiative is part of a series of humanitarian activities carried out in partnership with donors and local and international institutions, aimed at meeting the basic needs of the most vulnerable groups amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
