The Palestinian Civil Society Organisation for Environment and Development (PCED) distributes food parcels to displaced persons in Gaza in partnership with the Emirates Red Crescent.
The Palestinian Civil Society Organisation for Environment and Development (PCED), in partnership with the Emirates Red Crescent, carried out a relief activity consisting of distributing food parcels to displaced families in the Gaza Strip at the beginning of April 2025, as part of the emergency humanitarian response to the catastrophic conditions suffered by the population as a result of the ongoing war.
This activity is part of the efforts to alleviate the living burdens of thousands of families who have been forcibly displaced by the aggression, amid a severe shortage of food and basic services.
The food parcels contained basic supplies to meet the needs of families for an appropriate period of time and were distributed in several areas in coordination with local committees to ensure that they reached the most affected and needy groups.
The Authority emphasised that this intervention is part of its ongoing commitment to respond to the needs of the Palestinian community in times of emergency, praising the role of the Emirates Red Crescent in supporting the resilience of the Palestinian people, especially in these critical humanitarian circumstances.
The beneficiaries of this aid expressed their gratitude and appreciation for this initiative, which contributed to providing the minimum requirements for a decent life in difficult and complex living conditions.
