The Palestinian Civil Society Organisation for Environment and Development (PCED) distributes hygiene kits to women in collaboration with the Centre for Culture and Free Thought.

June 2025

As part of its ongoing support for women in difficult humanitarian circumstances, the Palestinian Civil Society Organisation for Environment and Development (PCED), in cooperation with the Centre for Culture and Free Thought, carried out an activity to distribute hygiene kits for women, targeting a number of displaced women affected by the war, during the month of June 2025.

The kits contained basic hygiene supplies to meet women’s daily needs, especially given the lack of privacy and difficulty in accessing health services in shelters or displacement areas.

This activity comes within the framework of the comprehensive response to the needs of women and girls, and the Authority’s keenness to provide integrated support to the most vulnerable groups, especially in times of crisis and emergency.

The Authority emphasised the importance of addressing the health and psychological needs of women, praising the role of the Centre for Culture and Free Thought in supporting this humanitarian effort, and renewing its call for enhanced cooperation between institutions working in the humanitarian field to expand the scope of support for affected groups.
